Rheometer. A device that applies shear force to study the viscoelastic and flow properties of compounds (e.g. liquids, emulsions, powders, gels).

Freeze dryer. A device that removes water from a product (liquid, paste or solid) under very low pressure, allowing water to transition directly from solid to gaseous state (sublimation).

Zeta potential analyzer. A measuring device for determining the size, molar mass and surface charge (zeta potential) of suspended particles based on pH, additives and dilution.

UV-visible spectrophotometer. An instrument for measuring absorption in standard cuvettes or directly in solution, as well as detection (e.g. dissolved gases, oxidative and radioactive species).

Rotary evaporator. A device that applies centrifugal force and reduced pressure to rapidly distill solvents, used to concentrate solutions or suspensions.
